I was just wondering what's wrong with me recently. My energy level is not like before. In the past I could stay awake for 2 whole days without feeling tired but recently i can't seem to do without a decent 8 hours of sleep. Signs of old age or signs that i've been pushing myself too hard in the past. The body is complaining now. I wonder.
Got back from another youth service at BF. Met some new people again. If every week i get to know maybe a couple of new people my social network will expand like greatly. These 2 new guys i met are brothers. They look alike
haha... duh
Funny people the duo. Chatted quite abit and as usual i was laughing non stop again. Anyway i'm not a drug addict ok "Hao". haha...
i just happened to look like shit in that pics.I'm usual not like that. Gee...
I'll post the photo we took together the moment "Hao" sends me. Yup.
I wanna watch
STRANGER THAN FICTION. It seems like a pretty decent movie.
Story goes like this:
Language: English
Genre Comedy / Drama / Fantasy / Romance
Director: Marc Forster
Cast: Will Ferrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, Queen Latifah, Emma Thompson, William Dick
Columbia Pictures and Mandate Pictures' Stranger Than Fiction is an inventive comedy about a novelist (Emma Thompson) struggling to complete her latest, and potentially finest, book - she only has to find a way to kill off her main character, Harold Crick, and she'll be done. Little does she know that Harold Crick (Will Ferrell) is inexplicably alive and well in the real world and suddenly aware of her words. Fiction and reality collide when the bewildered and hilariously resistant Harold hears what she has in mind and realizes he must find a way to change her (and his) ending.
Just some random thingy, i actually won the game Reversi when my opponent has gotten all 4 corners. Impressive sia. haha... Service tml. It's at 11. Hopefully i'll be waking up early enough. A long list of to-do list waiting for me.

Went out with Serene today. Was supposed to go to the National library but we ended up in buddhist library. It was actually me who wanted to go there to get some books and she was kind enough to accompany me. After that we went for Dim Sum somewhere at Geylang. The Dim Sum was good!! If i'm not wrong the shop name is called " He Ji Bao". As usual we ordered too much and had to stuff ourselves silly so as not to waste food.Spent about 15 bucks for 2 person, pretty value for money.
Siew mai
Lotus leaf rice. It wasn't very oily surprisingly.

This was one of their recomandations so we decided to try it out. It's fried fritters with "sotong" in it. Pretty interesting taste. Very chewy.
We also ordered their centry egg porridge just in case we were still hungry.
For dessert, I had their home-made grass jelly while Serene tried their Tao hui.

It wasn't too sweet nor too blend. Best consumed in a hot weather like today.

Serene's soya bean.
After that we headed down Paya Lebar. We actually walked from Geylang Lor 24A all the way to Paya Lebar. It took us close to 45 minutes to walk. I was impressed that we could walk for so long. (=
Following that we went to Marina Square. This is like the 3rd time i'm there in one week. haha...
Went to Kbox. Sang like nobody's business.
Look at Serene sing. haha...Apparently there were no pics of me singing so yup i'll just post her.

The 2 of us(= and this was taken before i went for my haircut.
Gee... this is the last time u'll see me in this hair style.
Went for a haircut at REDS after that. I feel like a kuku now cos i've a fringe now. It feels weird. After the haircut i went to Charmaine's house and asked for her opinion. haha... i needed some confidence from her. Yup she cut her hair too so we decided to take some pictures together.

I hope i dun look too weird. D:

Ha, i wanted to download photoshop cs trial version but guess how long it'll take? 93 hours. That's like 3 and a half days long. Bloody long. I guess it's due to the earthquake in Taiwan that disrupted the internet connection. I'll just have to download it some other day then. Bleah.
Been going out with the BF group for the past few days. Talked to quite a few of them and yup friendships were forged. (= They are really a very very cool bunch. Have not really talked so much to a new friend before execpt to Thow. haha... talked so much it felt like de javu. Went to catch some outdoor musicals with him and the rest as well at the esplanade. Dr Melcom Ma and his band were the performers. The performances were great.
Went to the metta sch tonight for a talk by Arjar Bram. It was a good talk. Arjar Bram was such a good speaker.
Ok anyway i'm in such a book reading mood now. Feel like going to the National Library tomorrow and spend my whole day there. Gee...

What comes into your mind when one mention buddhism?
Very traditional?
Monks who do nothing but chant?
It's an Old people's religion?
All i can say is that a very wrong misconception.
I just got back from Buddhist Fellowship's(BF) youth service. There were band playing, songs sang as well as dinner.
It started with darma talks. That was the most interesting dhamma talk i've ever attended. It's more cathered to the youths. Today's topic was inlined with the upcoming x'mas. It's entitled Buddhamas:The Buddha and The Christ. Very very interesting topic.
The 2 wise men's teaching are very similar. Quotes were taken from the Dhamma Pad and The book of Luke as well as The Book of Mattew to prove that. I was impressed.
After that was pot luck dinner. Everyone was supposed to bring a dish with them. Quite an interesting idea.
Following that was party time. We sortta of celebrated "x'mas". The band was playing and everyone was partying. All the youths took to the floor and let their hair loose.
Some shorts that were taken.

The singing session.

The dance session.
It was actually my first time there but within minutes i got to know almost all the youths there. The people were so welcoming. Soon i was also pushed to the dance floor and we all danced non stop. Got to know some very very friendly people too.
Their youth service is every sat evening from 5.15.
There is also service on Sun 11am.
I guess i'll be joining them again tml since it's SUNDAY! (=

haha... i was so worried that my blog would disappear because i just switched to the to google blogger. Heard from some people that there were some errors when they transfered their blog. I guess my worries were unduly, my blog is still around.
Just got back from a BBQ at ECP. It was BBQ cum meet up session with my OBS instructors. Gene and Leng Er were supposed to come but only Leng Er turned up because Gene could not get back to Singapore on time. He's somewhere out in the sea sailing. It took longer then expected for the sail to return to Singapore. haha... He'll only back on Monday. It sure takes very very long to sail back. Anyway he's gonna go off to South Africa OBS. Pretty sad, but i guess he'll have better prospects there.
Talked quite abit with LengEr, she's very fun.
Found out from her that Juansa quitted.Hey Chee and Aud, Yong Kang is still working there. haha... and everyone says that he's very handsome. See i told you all he was good looking from the start, haha..Anyway i wanna join AMAZING RACE ASIA. I think it's so fun. I've always wanted to join The Amazing Race ever since the first season aired on TV. I dun mind pairing up with Jeremiah or Sheena actually. hehe... Jeremiah is streetwise and he's a guy.Sheena and me have the chemistry. haha... anyone else wanna partner me to join Amazing Race??? hehe..
Isn't this bears cute? My mum got me 2 of them. haha...
Anyway did i say i just realised that Audrey actually kindly sent me Social Studies notes for O level. haha...yes i know it's a little too late but i appreciate it anyway. Thaks baby.(=

Finally i'm able to blog. Have been trying to enter the dashboard page but has always been unsucessful.
Had dinner with Thiam Siang two nights ago. The dinner was good. Food was good, company was good. We went to Bedok for curry. I actually didn't know the exsistance of the shop till he brought me there. Next time i'll bring Charmanine there, since she likes curry so much. (=
I've never eaten so much curry in one meal before. It was delicious, not too much coconut milk and not those killer curry when it really burns. Pricing was resonable as well.
After the curry session, we went walking around Bedok. haha... nothing much to see there but i still enjoyed the walk. Talked quite abit. After that we decided to head for a famous dessert store for our aftermeal. Really ate quite a lot that night.
Everytime i go out with Thiam, i'll always come back learning something new. Do you all know that viniger is not suppossed to be added with your shark fin soup? The viniger is suppossed to be drank after the soup to clear the taste and to prepare for the next course. haha... surprising ya? Ya i learnt that from him.
Lastly i just have to say, Thiam Siang, You REALLY really look like JR from Kone. haha.. i think it's the FEEL u give out. (= Not too bad lah Thaim Siang. haha...
Some pics that we took on our trip to Sentosa.

Taken on the train.

On the Cable car.

At Sentosa itself.

Playing with water.

On our way back.

Just got back from the indoor stadium. Went there to catch a performance. The performance was great, frankly speaking I've never witness such a performance. I'm used to going for western musicals as well as concerts that play western classical but today's performance was nowhere similar. The show was titled
[ Voices of harmony, Sound of a thousand years] . It is a collaboration between the Singapore Chinese orchestra group as well as a foreign arts group from China. It's organised by Phor Kark See Monastery.
Today was more or less the first time I've sat through a whole show put together by the SCO. In the past i used to have the misconception that SCO was an orchestra for the old. I was wrong. It was amazing to see Chinese instruments playing to the tunes of pop songs.
Another highlight of the whole show tonight is the performance put up by the art's group from China. One thing very special about this group is that all it's group members are not like you and me. They are people who are disabled. Be it visually impaired, hearing impaired and even the physically handicapped.
It was so touching to see the much acclaimed group perform. The group have been to almost 50 different countries to perform and have won numerous awards.
From the performance, you could really witness their strong desire to live on despite their disabilities. Their zest for life was so strong, it touched most of us present.
I feel that Singapore should also have an Arts school for the disabled. It's a platform where those people could showcase their talents for the Arts as well as intergrating them into our society.
haha... i noe i still owe some people their pics. Yes. I'll upload them soon. Real soon. The sentosa photos as well as the photos i took with sheena.(=

Confession and apologies.
It's been pretty much a month. At the start i was still habouring the thought of a reconciliation. I thought you would at least try. I was downright wrong. Wherever i went i seemed to sense your shadow. Tat period was the toughest.
"Time will heal all wounds"
"You deserve someone better"
"Open your eyes, don't be blinded anymore"
This were the very common consolation that everyone showered me with. I'm so grateful for it. Although at that period all these may seem like crap and your so so tired of hearing all that. You just wish someone could see the world from your point and stand by you. You just hope for that someone who could feel the same way as you--- the feel of blood pumping straight to your heart at the slightest mention of his name, the feel of missing him every minute, every second when you are not together. Unfortunately I didn't meet anyone like that.
I believe this saying is very true--- love is blind. It is indeed blind. When you're in it, you feel as if the whole world revolves around just the 2 of you. You can't seem the flaws even if it was staring straight at you.
I'm so glad i didn't meet anyone who felt the same as me. Everyone told me to get a hold of myself and move on.
I listened to them half-heartedly, i was still stubbornly clinging on the silly thought of you returning.
It was until that day when i finally woke from my fantasy.
The day i saw the pictures. It broke my heart. Totally. It felt as if my heart stopped beating. I guess it's just the time whereby your heart is really dead. No more feelings. Just one word---numb.
I'm pretty grateful for chancing upon the pics. It made me totally give up on you. The heart still bleeds but at least i know in days to come it will heal. It will heal because i finally saw through you. I knew you were not perfect but i seriously didn't expect you to be so so imperfect.
During those days, i had this foolish thought--- i thought i would be able to change you. I thought you would change for me. I've never been so wrong in my entire 16 years.
A leopard will never change it's spots. How true. I'm not trying to jeopardize your image.
Throughout the whole course, because of you and partly because of me being so blinded, i fell out with a couple of people. From the start, there were already people warning me. I refused to listen, preferring to trust my instincts, preferring to trust you. I assume all they said were rubbish. How could they say such things about you. You, in my eyes was so close to perfection.
I'm so sorry for pushing all your advises aside.
In the course of the episode i became very selfish and bitchy as well. Had some unnecessary confrontation. If you're reading this----I'm sorry. I appologise. I must have been so blinded as well as so narrow hearted to say those things.
I believe we are all victims in this mess, no one is spared. All i can do right now is to wish you all the best and get back on your feet soon. There'll be better ones that deserves you more. One that truly loves you for who you are.
I'll be doing that myself. This will be the last time I'll be writing on this issue. It's gonna be a new chapter and I'll start to fill it up. It will not be left blank for you anymore.

Just finished watching the 15th Asian games on the segment of bowling. It was Singapore VS Korea. Remy Ong was representing Singapore. We lost in the end but i just had to come online to commend Remy. He was so great during the game. We were leading by a small margine at first but throughout the game there were no moments when u could see Remy getting complacent. He was so focused on the game. I especially like the way he walks up to the lane. The way he picks up the ball and all eyes set on the lane itself. Just one word... Cool. He was pretty great during the game. I guess there are just some occasion when luck is really not at your side. We lost out by a strike. It was pretty wasted but i still got to say I'm totally impressed with
REMY ONG. Great sportsmanship.

Remy ong finished off his games with 2798 points that's if i don't remember wrongly which put him in 2nd place.
There are actually many other athletes that are preforming very very well like
TAO LI. She was so great during her winning swim. So impressive.

Actually all our athletes desever our upmost respect. I salute all of them. Wish Singapore all the best for the remaining events. (=
Aud and myself personally think that Remy is pretty good looking. hehe... side track alittle.

Another entry for the day.
I was on the road this evening when this tot suddenly came to me. I was wondering there were how many traffic police on the road at a time. It's so weird, i seldom see them around but once you are speeding or doing something illegal, they appear right away. This is so weird. I wonder why.Me and Aud are thinking of going Sentosa to sun tan. Funny thing is we tot about it at almost the same time. Great minds think alike lah baby. haha...
Anyway it would be cool to have a moonlight activated handphone ya. In the day time the phone would be running on solar and in the night it would be running on moonlight. haha... cool. I was inspired by AUD's sms.
I had this very funny dream last night. I dreamt that i was with thiammy. haha... it's so weird. I told my mum and she was laughing non stop. She told me i must be thinking too much. I think i've been thinking too much too. How can it be me and him?///This is so funny.

It's mum's birthday today. WEnt out for dinner as part of the celebration. Went to THE SHIP for dinner. It's a pretty nice restaurant with very good ambience. It's tucked in a corner of Shaw shopping centre. The restaurant is pretty dim, every table will have one lighted candle and the whole place is decorated like th interior of a ship. It feels like you are having your dinner out in the sea. Pretty romantic. Food there was fantestic as well. They are famous for their steak.
These are the only few lights in the restaurant.
The table setting.

Our first course---soup ( cream of chicken )
The soup was tasty, rich and creamy with large chunks of chicken.
Their bread is in the shape of a muffin. Very cute.

My main course. I tried their black mushroom steak. Medium done. *YUM*

My parents tried their cod fish. It looks nice and it taste nice too.
The photos are all very dark cos i didn't want to on the flash light. I guess it would be too rude for the others who are present. hehe... so yup just bear with the dark photos.
Picture of their logo.
Lastly
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM. HAVE A GOOD YEAR AHEAD.
Love ya <3>
Went shopping at ORCHARD after that. I love shopping and i love orchard. I love to see the crowd and to mingle with them. THe feelings' great. Didn't get anything much except for a necklace from TANGS studio.

Singapore is gonna go outdoor wireless for free for a cool duration of 3 years. I'm excited about it. Tat means that i can roam around Orchard, ECP and many other places with my laptop in hand. I think the best place would have to be ECP. Chill and surf baby. (= For more info or to sign up -->

Was sick yesterday. Came back from chalet with a virus infection. Head was splitting so had no choice but to go to the doc. Took some medicine and practically slept the whole day away.
Woke up today feeling much much better. Went to IKEA Tampines with my parents today. It is huge. I like that place cos of it's food. Shall frequent it more often. After tat we went to art friend. Wanted to go there to get some x'mas decorations and some stuff to make x'mas presents but we couldn't find the things we needed. So we left there empty handed.
After tat my mum was asking me to go shopping with her at TM. I just followed her and off we went to TM. I've never shopped at TM anything like today before. Went in empty handed but came out loaded with shopping bags. Shopped for almost half the family's x'mas present. Went looking for clothes too. Spent about $80 plus at FOX. Fox has pretty nice clothes.
