It's FRIDAY. Lesson ended at 12 so i got a hell lot of time to waste till 6.30. Went out with Hao and we walked from Maxwell foodcenter to the CBD to Singapore river to Esplanade library. haha we just love walking round that area, ok maybe it's just us. We like that area of Singapore.

Being in close contact in public, is it still such a big deal as compared to the past? Kissing in public is not a taboo anymore. It's just a normal action to show your other half how much you love them. People should be more open minded. I don't think that PDA will corrupt younger children's mind.
Just on the TV and you'll understand what I'm trying to say.
Some older generation people may be a little deluded at times. I'm being nice with my words.

It's tuesday once again and there's Dance sport this evening.
It's an irony that before poly started, my dad was really against me joining CCAs and up to date, i'm currently in 2 CCA.Dancesport as well as Karate. Yup, i'm in Karate =).
After so long of considering, i decided to take up karate. Dad seems pretty ok with my choice of CCA. All he wanted me to do was to organize my time well. How cool. If i knew this would happen then i would not have fed up the last time. I was so upset that i would not have a CCA. haha...
Things will always turn out for the better. =)
Athletes taking part in the Thai open will be leaving for Thai on Thurs. Hao won't be joining. I have mixed feelings. One side of me tells me that thank goodness he's not going, course I'm so gonna miss him if he went. The other side tells me that, Hao may not be going for this event but sooner or later, he'll definitely have to go for other overseas competitions. I can't be so selfish as to not allow him to take part in overseas competition. I have to be understanding and support him back at home while he's away fighting for Singapore. =)

Went for a musical with Hao over the weekend. Pretty good musical brought by BF. Passage of time. Storyline revolves round a lady and her family. Got pretty touchy at the end.
It's pretty interesting to see your friends who used to be siting at the same row with you, suddenly up on a stage performing for you. It was really a great show put up. Hui lin sure can act, my my. Oh and i so love big Hui lin's and Daphne's voice. Her vocals are so powerful.
The only pity thing was that me and Hao got to the play late.
sorry baby, you had to wait for me to end Karate training that's why we were late.
Yes, i'm in karate. haha white belt but soon to be black. *grins*
The play was held in Raffles hotel. Raffles hotel always gives me the impression that it comes out from a fairy tale. Indeed, it's so beautiful in the evening under the dim lights and i just love the evening there with Hao.
By the end of play we both were very shagged. haha just look at him. Tired tired.

Yesterday Hao and myself went back to our favorite ice store for another dose of ice cream. Toms palette really sell fantastic ice cream at reasonable price. They have an whole array of ice cream for you to choose, ranging from the normal mango to cookies and cream to the more different kind like wasabi with lime and tao sa pia(it's some chinese dessert with bean paste in it).
Feeling advantageous we decided to try the tao sa pia ice cream as well as the cookies and cream. My my... they have one of the best cookies and cream ice cream in town. It taste so good. You can really taste the cookies and bite into them. It's not so milky as compared to others as well.
The store has a board for the customers to write on. Below are just some notes hao and myself write in the past few times we went there.

INtervasity katate competition was on yesterday. I'm so glad i managed to get there on time to watch Hao fight. The only regret is that i did not managed to watch the "kata" segment in the morning. Hao being pretty good managed to bag 2 golds in the respective category. =) I'm so proud of you baby.
That was one of the first karate match i ever been to, first time seeing Hao fight as well. Actually first time seeing him in his Gi too. You look so good in your Gi. So many first times yesterday.
I was so worried that i could not make it on time. Took a cab and rushed all the way down to SP. Made the taxi driver drive at 100km/h. haha... it was really a fast ride. I like. =)
HAo fought well i would say. His techniques and skills were there. I like the way he fights. In a nutshell, He's my idol. wheeee........
In every match there's bound to be injuries so Hao was not spared either. So baby, you must recover ok. Hope your head and back does not hurt so much now. Take care =)

Miao needs to shed some weight. To help her do it, she has decided she has to do some sports. After graduating from Tkgs basketball team as well as SRjc's canoeing team, she has not done much sports.
Sports she has in her mind are
1)Martial arts
2)Sea sports. Either Canoeing or Sailing.
3)Beach volleyball.
She misses the adrenaline
. She'll revive that feeling.

Life....
What is life all about. Why is it that some people are living in shit holes while others are enjoying life as if they rule the whole world. Are these considered as the quality of life.
Maybe we should sit down and ponder over this issue.
"Why is it that i'm living a life like that while he/she isn't."
From a Christen point of view:
God created life so that man may enjoy it and have fellowship with god. The meaning of life right to the basic. But why is it that some people lead better life as compared to others?
From a Buddhist point of view:
The first thing to come into mind would be karma. Does Karma really answer why some people lead better life?
Or is it we should just forget about the whole issue and think about how to go about changing our current life for the better?
That leads to another question. How do we change our life? How do i make my family understand me? How do i make my friends understand me? How do i make the world understand me? How do i change my life?
Actually I would prefer to change people instead of change life. It's always people's unwillingness to accept another being for who they are that causes life to be so miserable.

We were asked to talk about our views on cohabition for one of our IS module.
Here's my personal view.
I am for cohabitation on the basis that there must not be any children and not cohabiting for more than 3 years. Reason for this is because I feel that prior to marriage, one must get to know the other party well. Knowing the other party well does not mean knowing all his or her likes and dislikes but also to know how the individual behaves at home.
Both marriage and divorce are en expensive affair and I believe that lots of consideration has to be put in for your life long partner. You got to be sure that that is the right guy or lady for you before you decide to take the vows. The only way to be sure would be to life with her or her for a period of time. People usually say that one’s true character will only be revealed at one’s home. By cohabiting, you will get to know if your partner is someone who knows how to do the house errands or someone who has never lifted a finger. You will also get to live the life of a married couple with no strings attached. At the end of the day, you realise that both of you are not made for each other, it’s much easier to part.
However, my stand for not cohabiting for more than 3 years is because after that there should be a sense of commitment. If you decide that your cohabiting partner is the partner you’ve been looking for then I feel that they should take the vow and to officially (and legally) get married. Getting married is definitely another level up in the relationship. Having children and still cohabiting is a no-no because once there is a kid, both party should commit straight away and to take up the role of bring the kid up.

Every time i see the pain settling in you, i feel so helpless. I don't know what i can do to help you elevate the pain. It hurts on you physically but it hurts me as well. It pains me to see you like that. I know i just have to accept that these are part and parcels of a fighter.
All along, glory have been thrown on athletes but i never knew how much they suffered behind all the glory. The amount of time and effort that have been invested in the sport they are in. Sometimes it does not stop there, injuries and pain sets in as well.
There is no such thing as a break from the sports. Injuried, but the trainings continues. Worst still, old injuries keep resurfacing.
I know you have interest in what you are doing and I'll always support you. You've told me you want to compete in this competition. It's one of the highlights of the year. I'll be real happy and glad for you if you clinch the title back. I'm sure everyone will be very happy. The school would be proud of you as well.
But but but....
your condition.
Competition's in one week's time, your trainings have intensified. You want to push yourself to be in good condition to prep up for the big day. Another training tomorrow night.
I know you really want it so I won't stop you once you've decided on it. I believe in you. I believe in what you told me-you'll be fine. Yes, you will be fine.
No matter what the outcome may be, always remember, you'll always have me. Dun ever forget. I love you.

The 2 of us can get very crazy at times. we do lots of things crazy stuff in sch as well as outside school. haha... we came out with a game on our way out of sch. Goal of the game is to not let the other party kiss you on any part of the face. Sounds lame but it could get us playing for many hours. haha... fun fun fun. Only downside of this game is that passer-bys who walk pass you may think that the two of you are fighting. haha...cos half the time you are trying to dodge the kisses. Looks like both of you are struggling with each other.
Another place i love to hang out during free periods would be the sch's boardgames room. They have almost all the boardgames around. It's so relaxing to chill there and to play one round on the board.
