Hao's auntie and her 2 beautiful kids flew over to Singapore from Australia over the weekends. Hao and myself had the chance to bring the trio out to Sentosa for a day where the kids could enjoy themselves at the beach.
The 2 kids were simply adorable. I just can't say how adorable they are. The boy, Lachlan, being 4 years old while the girl, mickaer, is only 14 months. Lachlan speaks with a pretty thick Aussie accent and I could not understand him when he spoke to me for the first few times. After awhile i got pretty much used to it and i was able to fully understand him. Something very cute about him would be the way he says "yes" to you. Instead of "yes" he would say "yeh". haha...i love the way he says it. Yeh Yeh Yeh.
Lachlan was super friendly as well. He didn't keep a distance from me even though that was the first time we met each other. HE even allowed me to hold his hands and walk round Vivo.
Mickaer was a little more foreign towards me and didn't want me to carry her. She kept leaning towards Hao gor gor. Nonetheless she is so beautiful.
The 2 kids. =)
Mickaer was so mischievous. Lochlan was asleep in the stroller and Mick would walk very unsteadily over to the stroller and start poking Loch on the face. The more Mick pokes the happier she gets and the point is Loch never gets angry with her. It was such a sight to see it.
Another picture of Mick having a pomelo over her head. Look how small she is. 14 months old baby. One thing i'm so impressed about her is that whenever she falls down she never cries. She would pick herself up and continue walking. How cool.
The difference between Singaporean kids and Aussie kids are so significant. You can tell from the way they behave in public. I was seriously impress with their behaviour on that day. Loch could eat all on his own without any help from the mother. He's very independent for such a young age. He's appreciative of what you do for him and he listens to his mother. When the mother says no to something, he understands. And lastly the biggest difference would be his command of English. He speaks super well.
Mick as well was very well brought up.
I feel that they are not too sheltered. They are allowed to have fun and not be worried that they would get hurt.
Take for example, Mick was allowed to have ice cream and to drink cola. I'm sure many local parents would definitely not feed their 14 month old children that fearing that they would be down with cough or whatsoever. She was allowed to go into the sea and to play with water.
Whenever they fall, no one would rush to them and make a big fuss over it. They would learn how to pick themselves up on their own unlike kids over here. I've seen so may cases when a little child falls and the mother, the father, the grandmother, grandfather would all run to him/her and make such a big fuss. That's not the case over there.
That's the way i feel it should be.
Lastly this is our shot we took with Mick.
They flew back to Aus today and i sure will miss them lots.

Which Disney Princess Are You? |
 | You are Pocahontas. You defy convention and sometimes do what is considered taboo. Unfortunately, others do not always appreciate your differences, so it's good that you are so strong-willed. You are loyal and you believe in fate. Your true love will find you one day. |
Which Peanuts Character Are You? |
 | You are part Charlie Brown. You are always optimistic and persistent, and everyone appreciates your simple sweetness. Sometimes, however, your anxieties get the best of you, and life's mysteries can confuse you. |
 | You are part Sally Brown. You may not be the most ambitious person, but life isn't supposed to be hard! You are relaxed and easy-going, but you can hold your ground when you want, too. |
Which Pixar Character Are You? |
 | You are part Mr. Incredible. You are from a family of superheroes. Need we say more! It's unfortunate superheroes have to hide their identity, but that doesn't stop the opposite sex from being attracted to you. Your looks can floor anyone, and your CG muscles make even Arnold jealous. Your ability to kick the asses of villains and personal foes every now and then will be remebered for generations to come. |
 | You are part Nemo. Your are the rebel in the group. You do things differently, not because you think they should be done that way, but because your Mommy told you not to do such "bad" things. This is cool if you ask us, and we are pretty sure your friends agree. |

It's so fun to be young again. Yet in the meantime i wanna grow older. A conflict of interest there. Sounds so SS.
Went for dinner with Dad. It was just the 2 of us tonight. We both dined at Grapevine. It's a pretty nice place to chill, eat and to drink. The whole place is non-airconditioned with a very dark settings. Black walls with black table settings and modern chandellers line the restaurant.
Only downside of our whole eating experience was that the restaurant was shorthanded. We had to wait a long time before our requests were being seen to.
Our food for the night.

Dad's chicken cooked in chinese wine. Served with fragent rice. I forgot the name of this dish but it tasted real good. The wine could be tasted with every bite of the chicken.

My meal. Some chicken leg stuffed with mushroom. The chicken was so juicy and the mushroom tasted so heavenly. Yum yum. I yearn for more. I forgot the name of this dish as well.

And my dessert for the night. I forgot the name of this dish as well. I think it's called something like Milk in heaven. There's conflakes, blueberry sauce and milk pudding at the bottom. The milk pudding taste so soft. so milky. To eat it you'll just have to mix everything up. The blueberry sauce mixes so well with the cornflakes and the milk pudding. Not too sweet. It was just right.

And my drink for the night was Long island tea. I just had to satisfy my cravings for it. One thing to note never ever drink with a freaking straw. Dunno wtf the bar tender put a stupid straw in my drink and i stupidly drank from it. Drinking from a straw just speeds up the alcohol reaction.

Dad had some cranberry juice which i find it a tad too sour.
F man. First time i'm actually feeling lousy after drinking LIT. I think i should just hit the sheets now.

I've trained and i will continue training.
I've never been so serious in any of my trainings before.
Back then when i was with the basketball team, i slacked half my time there. Never really
focusing on improving but rather remaining stagnant. Being with the team was just to get my
CCA points and nothing goes beyond that.
Right now,
i'm alone. No longer a team. No longer team play. You don't perform and it shows. Your effort and training results glare straight back at you.
I've changed. No longer the one that can't do anything well. I will excel in it, putting my best foot forward even if it means going against the wishes of mum.
I understand how she feels.
No mum would like the idea of their child getting bruises week after week but i promise it'll should pass. I just need to get the hang of it and non of that will happen again.
I've got excellent teachers, good club mates, a close to full facilities training
ground. What more can i ask for.
This time i train not only for interest but also for the expectations that
i've not been meeting.
No one will say that
i'm not performing.
I'm awake this time. No longer deluding myself. I chose this route so as to have more time to
pursue what
i'm interested in and this is it.
Both studies and trainings shall be aced.
And i really appreciate the one to one trainings i have with you. Thanks for willing to guide me on my path to perfection. Tuesday's
training was so hard to come by and
i'm full of gratification. May have got hit a far bit more but I've learnt as well. The
opportunity cost and it's worth it. Thank you so much
seipai. *bows*
I just caught 2 tear inducing movies. One the pursuit of happiness and the other World trade centre. I've watched the former in the cinema but
nonetheless it was still good
watching it the second time.
I caught the latter for the first time. I was so touched by it. It was by far the only movie that made me tear even after the end of the movie.
The movie made me realise how
fragile life is. How uncertain it is. It made me realise how scary human beings can be once they are too
obsess over something. It's scary.
So many innocent
lives were lost. 2,498
lives if i didn't remember wrongly. It's been 6 years. Doesn't seem that long.
The movie unfolds through the eyes of 2 policeman who were on duty that went into the twin tower for
rescure efforts. The
building soon collapsed with the both of them in it, trapped. The movie also
portrayed the family members of the 2 police officers. You can see the mental
anguish they went through. It was saddening.
At that point it made me realise that we should really treasure the love ones around us. Anything can happen to them anytime anywhere. No ones knows what is going to happen next.
We should not hold back our feelings for our love ones because there may not be a chance for you to say it again.
To all my loved ones as well as friends, i just want you all to know that i really love you all. Thanks for always being there for me.

Someone asked me Have I smoked before.
I replied No never.
"Really? Not even one puff?" Exclaims in disbelief.
Alright so i do have the face or the vibe that tells people that i do smoke.
NAH i don't have, never do, not intend to smoke.
National tournament was held over the weekend.
Training continues this evening for me.
I'm happy.

It was Friday when one had to work while the other slacked at home =)
I promised i'll meet him after work to go for training together. It was still early at that time so both of us decided to pop by the GAMES Feast @ Suntec. I'm not so much of a gamer but it was that asiasoft goodie bag that attracted me there. I thought they would be giving out cashcards, hehe but darm i was wrong so we decided to skip the queue. (and it was a pretty long one too.)

Just look at the crowd there.

The first booth that greeted us when we walked into the convenstion centre. EA games. I like their games esp the Harry Potter series. hehe...
There were a series of new games peek at the convenstion. Some of them are not lunched in the market yet. They include
World of WAr craft.

I know nuts about this game but Hao does know quite a fair bit of it.
Saw the promos for it and i would have to say the graphics are good stuff.
The lastest Comand and Conqure -RAZOR.

Took a look at the new game and it seems pretty fun.
Hao got himself on of those temp RAZOR tatoo on his arm. Somehow both of us feel that the logo looks more like a snake rather a razor. Oh wells.
One of the other game that i took no picture of it was Need for Speed PRO STREET.
There was a area for people to try the game out. Freaking cool with 4 panels surrounding you. Almost like driving in reality.
And guess who we met during out stay at the convention centre.
Stormtroopers from Starwars.
How cool.

Don't we look like best buds with them.
And there was the Merlion of Singapore from maplestory's Singapore map.

And presenting Asiasoft's mascot.

The truth is the mascot looks kindda retarded. haha... but oh well's they brought us maplestory so i shall not say much.
And our group pic together with Asiasoft mascot.
Both of us had our 8 month dinner celebration at Carl's Jr.
And presenting my 91th bf.
haha... kidding lah. I love you baby. Thanks for all the times spent together.
Why am i not holding this Nokia N93 phone???
We saw this phone at the Games Feast. Super cool with all it's function. Oh bugger.
I got my new belt from training yesterday too. wheee =) Not a full fledged one but soon.

Indo food are nice but SPICY!!!
Hao's food.
Catfish for him

I didn't dare to eat it at the start. This catfish looked so stony. haha...

My food. Has a weird name called smashed chicken. Taste great too.
Our side orders.
Taohu Goreng.

Prawn crackers. Indo prawns taste so heavenly. I so love it.

This drink is called HAPPY SODA =)
What a cute name. Looks similar to Bandung but does not really taste like it. It's more gassy.

One thing i noticed in Indo food, they all look the same. All brown brown.
Happy after our lunch. =)

IT's HAO's birthday today!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HAO.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVE. =)
Birthday dinner celebration at NYDC. My fav American restaurant. Max the dog. I like.
This was taken a few days back
Our love potion for the night.

A mix of soda with strawberry
sauce and
vanilla ice cream topped with whip cream and choc bits. Feel the love.
Chicken Spaghetti with Max's special tomato base.
The first tomato base
spaghetti that i liked. Not too tomato-
ish, not too wet.
Spaghetti was boiled just nice. Still very springy.
Chicken and ham baked rice. Creamy, maybe a bit too creamy but the cheese made up for it.
The one slice birthday cake. Max's cheesecake.
Dun disturb, he's making birthday wishes.
BLow blow blow out the candle.
I tricked him into believing that his birthday present from me was just this pathetic box. hehe...
and he thought it was swimming trunks. muahahah..
In the end i got him a NUM shirt lah.

HAppy birthday boy =)
Both of us popped down to the kallang stadium last week. I guess the stadium holds some special meaning to Hao. I mean if you're a national athelete and national trainings have always been there for don't know how many donkey years, i think you'll definetely miss that place once it tears down.
So yup, here are some of the pics we took over there.
Can show the next generation. heehe...
I don't know why but i find this pic pretty artsy. But bascially it's just a picture taken with real bad lightings.

Jump jump jump.
I can't jump as high as him. haha...

My fingers are running on the tracks.

Shadow art.

That's us at the stadium.
After that was my karate grading back in school. Alright but i guess i could do better.
Black VS White. Noob me.
