First week of school passed. Enjoyable i must say. Tutorials start next week, going to meet my tutorial class for the first time.
Some incidents that happened in the first week.
Incident 1
Like all freshies, Hao and myself could not find our lecture hall. It was actually more like my lecture, Hao just crashed in with me. We started walking round the whole school trying to locate the lecture hall. We walked from the front all the way to the back. Halfway we met some guys on the way and asked them for directions. It turned out to be they are freshies as well. haha... all of us started laughing there. In the end we had to run up one hill before finding our lecture hall. Damn tiring.
Incident 2Hao and myself got stuck in a lift. A glass lift for the handicapped to be exact. I wanted to try out the lift so i dragged him in. We opened the lift door and got in. We didn't know the door was to close on it's own so HAo went to force it close. We were supposed to push the up button but there was no response. The lift didn't even budge. After a few tries it still didn't work so we tried to leave the lift but the door could not open. haha... so we were stuck. We tried signaling to the people outside and got someone to help us press the button from the outside but to no avail. Still stuck. By that time it was getting pretty stuffy and few people were looking into the lift. haha.. they must be wondering what the hell is two idiots doing in the lift. In the end Hao managed to get the lift started. HAlfway up, it decided to get cranky and stopped, and we were stuck again. After a few attempts, we finally managed to reach to the top. A mere two story lift ride took us a full ten minutes as compared to if we had taken the stairs. The latter would have taken us a mere 1 minutes. haha.... but it was a once in a lifetime experience, cause i won't take that lift again. xp
Incident 3Running out of a library introduction lecture. What more do i need to say about running away from useless lecture. =0 I bet halfway through the lecture only 1/4 of the class would be left.
As a whole i truly enjoy poly life and i signed up for dance sports as my cca. haha...
